I’m Genoveva Graciela Ernawati, usually called Erna, born in Solo (Surakarta), Indonesia.
My love for cooking started in elementary school and deepened in culinary school. Over the years, I’ve honed each flavor with patience and care—just like traditional home cooking.
From Indonesia to Timor Leste, Africa, and finally Stockholm, Sweden, I’ve gained experience managing kitchens and refining recipes.
In 2026, Erna’s Bistro celebrates 16 years of sharing authentic Indonesian flavors in Sweden.
Every dish reflects dedication, practice, and love, because behind Erna’s, every flavor has a story.
Beyond cooking, I enjoy photography and dream of combining it with my recipes in a book celebrating Indonesian culinary heritage.
